Want to run a Black Friday/Cyber Monday/End of year subscription campaign, set it up ahead of time, and include or exclude specific segments? Want to write specific tiers or to people who have given donations?
No need for yet another service, or to use your content management system Ghost for emails that aren’t actually content.
To make this happen, Outpost has now moved the Campaign feature out of labs and into production for all clients.
The campaign feature makes it simple to schedule emails ahead of time to various groups including or excluding user labels, user levels (free/all paid/specific tiers/complimentary/group), and set a goal for the campaign. That means you can set up a campaign that removes people from future emails in the campaign if they take a specific action like converting from free to paid.
Like our autoresponder emails, you can set these up with unique offers to see how each email and how the campaign performs.
Campaign emails are sent outside of Ghost, so if people unsubscribe, they can choose to do so from just marketing emails and not have to unsubscribe from your newsletter.
Statistics are available on each email and the campaign as a whole, and you can see these in your daily emails, as well as in the Outpost interface.
For now, these campaign emails are not metered and are included in your paid plan. We just ask that you please be judicious in using them: think of a limit, like sending no more than 3x your total membership per month.
That’s a lot of emails, and we hope these turn into more dollars and subscribers for you. Let us know if you have questions or if you do something fun and interesting with this new tool.
Happy sending!
